One fine day directed by Yongdeok Park

One fine day: The journey to the inner peace. The film describes the journey to overcome the sadness and find the inner peace through the meditation and the painting. There are two main subjects in the film: Falungong and Korean traditional paintings.

The main character happens to know how to cultivate Falungong in Korea. Falungong is the Chinese cultivation based on the principal of the universe: Truthfulness- Compassion- Tolerance.

Falungong is practiced by people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds over the world. However, the Chinese communist government has persecuted Falungong since 1999. Many people are persecuted to death and more are being uncovered, many Falungong practitioner’s organs were harvested by the Chinese Communist Party’s order.

In this film, the director did not show the severe persecution. The director, Yunjin Park and her crew members have worked this touchy subject matter in other film: Heaven’s Tear(2022), Spring of China(2020), Lotuses fill the garden(2012).

The main character paints Peonies ,butterflies and Lotus flowers. Peonies and butterflies mean the wealth and rich, lotus flowers mean the taintless pureness in the muds, cocks means wealth and honor in Korean traditional paintings. The director Yunjin Park and her crews have learnt the Korean traditional paintings for 3 years to paint them themselves. They wish the audience to lead a happy life after watching this film.

The director Yunjin Park and her film’s crews is a family. Yongdeok Park, the representatives of Golden Liberty Film is her brother. Bonghae Park, the producer is her sister. The main reason how the whole family members filmmakers become is the persecution of Falungong. Before the persecution of Falungong , they were just normal students. Bonghae Park studied medicine in Heidelberg university in Germany. Yongdeok Park studied mechanical engineering in Ajou university in South Korea.

Yunjin Park studied German literature in South Korea. After the persecution, they decided to tell the truth to people that Falungong practitioners are just ordinary and good people in the society and expose the evil persecution by the Chinese Communist Party. So they went to the New York Film Academy in USA and were graduated from it and have worked in the film industry.
