All Genre & language film is accepted. Films must be subtitled in English if the language is other than English and Hindi.
Films participated in earlier editions of Bangalore Shorts Film Festival are not eligible for participation in this year.
Year of production: Jan-2023 onwards
Short Films, Short Documentaries, Short Animation: up-to 60 min (equal or less than 60 min)
Music Video, Ad films: up- to 10 min
Web Series: Any
Entry submission as per rules & regulations.
Notification of officially selected regular entries by the festival office on 20 Aug 2025 and the late entries list shall be out on 25 Aug 2025.
Results of the festival will be declared on 14 Sept 2025.
Festival Date: 14 June 2025, Bangalore, India.
Delegate registration to attend the 14th BSFF-25.
Nominal Hospitality charges are applicable for filmmakers & attendees, which include networking lunch, tea/coffee with cookies/snacks & master classes.
Festival movies screening & workshops followed by an award ceremony to be held on the 14 June 2025 in Bangalore, India.
The decision of the Jury will be final and can’t be challenged.
Once the film is submitted can’t be withdrawn under any circumstances, however, the festival director reserves the right to disqualify any film on certain grounds.
14th Bangalore Shorts Film Festival-25 does not take any type of financial commitment for the expense incurred on the correspondence by the participant. All Travel, Lodging & Boarding, and other miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the participant himself for attending the festival. No request for the same will be entertained.
By submitting the movie to 14th Bangalore Shorts Film Festival-25, the filmmaker/producer takes the whole responsibility of copyright issues of music, script, and other creative and technical aspects of the film.
The delivery of certificates/trophy/award to those who will be unable to attend the festival are free of charge within India, but actual postal charges are applicable for International delivery (outside India) which may have to be paid by filmmakers.
