CINEMA FATHER INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL-27

Independent Cinema. Global Voices.

Cinema Father International Film Festival is more than a place to screen films. It is a platform designed to take filmmakers on a journey — from discovery and submission to recognition, promotion, market opportunities and long-term connection.

We believe that an independent film deserves more than a screening slot. It deserves to be discovered, experienced, discussed, promoted, recognised and connected to the wider world.

That is why Cinema Father follows a simple filmmaker-first philosophy:

DISCOVER → SUBMIT → GET SELECTED → CONNECT → BE PROMOTED → BE RECOGNISED → FILM MARKET → RETURN

DISCOVER

Discover independent cinema from India and around the world — bold stories, new perspectives and filmmakers who bring something different to the screen.

SUBMIT

Give your film a platform. Submit your Feature, Short, Documentary, Animation, Music Video, AI Film or Web Series and become part of a global independent cinema community.

GET SELECTED

Selection is the beginning of the journey. Selected filmmakers become part of the Cinema Father family, gaining a platform for their work and a place within our international community.

CONNECT

Cinema brings people together. Connect with filmmakers, audiences, creative professionals and fellow storytellers from different cultures and countries.

BE PROMOTED

A film should not disappear after selection. Cinema Father creates opportunities for selected filmmakers and films to gain greater visibility through festival promotion, filmmaker features, interviews, trailers, social media and other promotional platforms.

BE RECOGNISED

Celebrate filmmaking excellence through competitive awards and special recognitions across our India, World Cinema, Country Focus and New Discovery sections.

FILM MARKET

Take the next step beyond the festival. Explore opportunities related to distribution, sales, collaboration and industry connections, helping independent films move toward wider audiences and new possibilities.

RETURN

Cinema Father is not a one-time destination. We want filmmakers to return — with their next film, as alumni, as jury members, speakers, collaborators or members of our growing international cinema community.

ONE FILM. ONE JOURNEY. A GLOBAL COMMUNITY.

At Cinema Father, selection is not the end. It is the beginning.

From the first discovery of your film to its journey toward audiences, recognition and industry connections, Cinema Father aims to create a platform where independent cinema can travel, connect and grow.
