Syed Mahmoud Nawaz after completing his bachelor’s in economics, he did his master’s in mass communication from Jamia Millia Islamia. He has undertaken a variety of assignments in many parts across the world including in Europe, Africa, Middle-East, South Asia, Russia, and the United States. He has also been an International Consultant for the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) in the Maldives as well as for the Ministry of Information, Arts & Culture of the Republic of Maldives. In 2011, he was invited by the US Department of State for a study project, ‘US Foreign Policy for Journalists’ under the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP). He is also associated with various Indian business and cultural interests and assists them in pursuit of their activities both in the private and public sectors.
