Synopsis

In Indian culture, family plays a central role, and children’s holistic development is highly valued. Along with formal education, activities like Odissi dance support their overall growth. The short film “Chhuan-na… Na Mane Na” portrays Sanvi, a child balancing studies and extracurriculars, who silently endures inappropriate touch from trusted teachers. Though children can sense discomfort, fear and threats often prevent them from speaking out, leading to stress and anxiety. The film raises critical questions about trust, safety, and support systems. It aims to build awareness about “good touch” and “bad touch,” encouraging children to speak up, seek help, and develop the confidence to protect themselves.
